Catherine Contreras | Trusted Real Estate Guidance for Life’s Next Chapter & Guiding Families Through Real Estate Transitions with Care & Clarity
Catherine Stephens brings compassion, patience, and deep local knowledge to every real estate journey—especially when helping seniors and their families navigate one of life’s most meaningful transitions. Whether you’re downsizing, moving closer to loved ones, selling a longtime home, or exploring one-level living options, Catherine provides thoughtful, full-service support rooted in integrity, experience, and genuine care.
She understands that selling or buying later in life involves more than paperwork and timelines—it’s often about letting go of a home filled with decades of memories or choosing a place that fits new priorities. Catherine’s approach is steady and thorough, ensuring that no detail is overlooked and that every decision is made with comfort, clarity, and confidence.
Known for her calm demeanor and clear communication, Catherine guides her clients through each step—from preparing a home for market and coordinating inspections, to working with family members and trusted professionals like financial planners, attorneys, or senior move managers. With a background in strategic marketing and a strong network of reliable service providers, she ensures your home gets the attention it deserves while you get the care you need.
Her motto, Realty Right Now, reflects her belief that real estate should meet you where you are—whether you’re ready to move or just beginning to explore your options. She listens first, respects your pace, and always puts your goals and comfort at the center of the process.
A lifelong local and proud graduate of UCLA and Mayfield Senior and Junior Schools, Catherine knows Pasadena and the greater Los Angeles area intimately. Her deep roots in the community and commitment to giving back—through alumni networks, volunteer work, and charitable giving—speak to her values and her heart. And with decades of market knowledge, she offers trusted resources, from estate sale teams to senior move specialists, and handles every detail—from preparing the home for sale to coordinating timelines with patience and professionalism. Her goal? To make a major transition feel manageable and meaningful—for everyone involved.
Outside of real estate, you’ll find her strolling farmers’ markets, sharing new recipes with friends and family, volunteering at local events, donating blood (49 times and counting with the American Red Cross!), making it through a hot yoga class, improving her tennis game, and enjoying the small joys that make the immediate world around us our community.
Organized Run-Walks are so wonderful for so many reasons:
They offer meaningful ways to support charitable causes, motivation (and accessible options) to stay active, opportunities to connect with the local community, and affordable ways to explore open spaces and discover the incredible public areas around you.
A few of my favorite organizations in Los Angeles that host these types of events—and also offer training and regular running opportunities—are Aztlan Athletics and Run With Us.
